Crazy Presidents

A new study says that almost half of the first 37 presidents (GW to Nixon) of the United States may have suffered from mental illness. Subscriber-only link. The psychiatric methods employed are questionable, but the Duke University study released it anyway. Guess what? Nixon had a problem, as did all three presidents of the 1920s, but Kennedy and FDR didn't. The study supposedly concentrated on biographical material, but I suspect it also took into account policy decisions while in office (read into that whatever you want).
