Cindy Margolis will pose for Playboy:
After turning down offers to pose for the magazine in the past, Margolis said she accepted this time because she felt posing nude at the age of 40 is empowering.
Empowering? I appreciate the brevity, but what's that cliche really saying? I few possibilities:
"I don't need to fear that I'm losing my good looks."
"I'll be as powerful as the Black Panther guys."
"It shows that silicone can overcome aging . . . and gravity."
"With enough make-up, I can look great, even when I'm dead."
"Photo airbrushing is the best technology since the push-up bra and wheel (which came first?)."
"Simone Weil said money is power's master key. I'm getting a lot of money for this spread. Therefore, I'm getting a lot of power. . . . Yes, I read Simone Weil. I just wish he and Art Garfunkle hadn't broken up."
