MTV Angers the Germans

A German conservative leader said Tuesday he has filed a complaint with prosecutors accusing music channel MTV of disparaging Christianity in an ad for its Vatican parody cartoon "Popetown," which depicts the pope as a pogo-stick riding brat.

The brats at MTV must be proud. They've provoked the ire of Germans, and that's pretty hard to do. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Maybe one year of a Bavarian pope is having a good effect on the relativistic German. Just as JPII brought down communism in his homeland, maybe B16 can topple Germany's reign of hedonism.
