Fear factor

Nicholas Lemann's New Yorker article on Bill O'Reilly is one of those articles that tries too hard to demonstrate that it's a "fair, yet critical assessment," when the only reason for writing is to trash the subject of the article. Nonetheless, it is a somewhat fair and very critical assessment of a guy who's become a household name in America. I don't like him, but you might.
