I found this in yesterday's WSJ (James Taranto's Best of the Web). It's not a joke:
[T]here's a small but growing effort under way to get a Vermont mountain named after the controversial movie, Brokeback Mountain.
In the movie, Brokeback Mountain is in Wyoming. But the film is actually shot in Canada. The so-called "gay cowboy" movie is a big hit here - theaters sold out for weeks. And Vermont was the first to pass equal rights for gay couples. Still, fans seem mixed.
Link.
Let me give these homosexuals a little advice: name nothing after a movie. It's been more than a decade since Anaheim named its hockey team, and it's still the dumbest name in sports.
