Sorry We Couldn't Be There

Sounds like there was a lot of fun at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation Media Awards dinner. Held at the Marriott Marquis in NYC, Jon Stewart greeted everyone via videotape with a shot at the religious right, “Good evening, Godless sodomites!” Honoree Alan Cummings joked about presenter Jessica Lange's breasts. Porn star Michael Lucas attended, and Billy Crystal was “lauded” for his portrayal of gay son Jodie Dallas on the late-'70s TV series "Soap."
