Plagued by rumours their marriage is in trouble, Madonna has put her foot down and imposed a strict curfew on her husband.
The star has drawn up a rigid three-point plan by which movie director Guy Ritchie has to abide.
She has told him he must spend up to three nights a week at home and, when he does go out, he must not drink more than three pints. He also has to be back home by 11pm.
The 47-year-old singer hopes the rules will help her and her husband, 37, sort out their differences.
I applaud Madonna for trying to save her marriage, but the rules seem rather draconian, at least given her past. She also imposes strict rules on her kids.
I don't know, but she also appears to embrace her libertine moral base. It's almost like she wants to impose rules rather than abide by morality, almost like the rules are a substitute for right living. Just a wild theory on my part.
