Comic Novels

Roger Kimball writes about his favorite comic novels:

1. "Leave It to Psmith" by P.G. Wodehouse
2. "Scoop" by Evelyn Waugh
3. "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House" by Eric Hodgins
4. "Lucky Jim" by Kingsley Amis
5. "The Belles Lettres Papers" by Charles Simmons

Alas, I've read none of them, not even Waugh's. Some people think I'm one of the best-read people they've ever met. It's more of an insult to their acquaintances than a compliment to me.

That being said, I need to try some Wodehouse. Maybe this summer.
