# Rowling Follow-Up

A reader writes in response to [my post yesterday](https://thedailyeudemon.com/4162/):

> Your correspondent about J.K. Rowling's church membership is incorrect on at least one count. The Church of Scotland is Presbyterian. The Anglican church there is called the "Scottish Episcopal Church."

> My daughter is a Harry Potter devotee, so I have followed the press about Rowling over the last few years, and I have read many times that she is a member of the Church of Scotland, but that may not be accurate. The Wikipedia article on the Scottish Episcopal Church claims that Rowling is a member of that church. This may be so, as she grew up in England and may have attended Anglican services there.
