The question has come up: "Can I put a text ad for a charity on The Daily Eudemon?" The answer is, "Yes, assuming your charity isn't 'Moloch Worshippers in Hollywood' or some such thing." Moreover, the $10 would be tax deductible as a charitable contribution (assuming (i) the charity is a 501(c)(3) or similar organization to whom donations are deductible under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code, and (ii) you itemize).
