There's been a persistent rumor here in Hollywood (I live less than a mile from the Kodak Theater) that there's a fenced off parking lot where the stars swap their luxury SUVs for [environmentally-friendly] hybrids they then drive a block or two to the [Academy Awards]. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
I believe it. The Left is always for big gestures, preferably by the federal government, rather than personal sacrifice, and the Hollywood types are the worst offenders. That being said, you'd think a reporter would pick up on such hypocrisy and snap some photos or video footage of the swap.
