Seinfeld Episode in Real Life

A small-town police chief was accused in a federal lawsuit Thursday of stopping a would-be rescuer from performing CPR on a gay heart attack victim because he assumed the ailing man had HIV and posed a health risk.

Link.

The chief says it's an outlandish lie. Thing is, it kinda rings true, no? One of my worst nightmares is being forced to give a guy mouth-to-mouth, much less a gay guy. Seinfeld actually made part of an episode out of Jerry and Newman's refusal to give another man mouth-to-mouth. It was pretty funny. This story is tragic, of course, but the Seinfeld skit was funny.
