I watched the opening ceremonies last night. I greatly enjoyed it. Of course, that could've been the eight shots of rum mixed in the form of a MOJITO, but regardless, it was good. I hate to admit it, but I had rum-fueled tears when Greece marched in first. I hate the elites, but I thank them for keeping Greece in that place of honor. After dozens of college credits in classical history, my love of Greece will never die. I still need to cruise that wine-red sea between Athens and Constantinople.
