The Kalamazoo Gazette ranked its top ten new breweries in Michigan. Pretty interesting list that illustrates the booming phenom that is craft beer.
Number one hails from Frankenmuth, Michigan, which long-time TDE readers will recognize as a former annual haunt of mine. It's Stormcloud Brewing. Unfortunately, the Gazette ran the article online in one of those highly-annoying multi-page slide shows . . . and made it so the material can't be pasted, so I can't provide much detail (annoyed me so much, I almost declined to run this post), but if you're into Michigan and beer, the slide is worth checking out, though I hate to admit it.
