A principal made news this week when she prohibited distribution of a high school newspaper that contained an article about sex and virginity. According to the story, the principal believed that “the article would be disruptive, especially the week before students tackle the reading, math and science sections of the FCAT” (easy folks; it stands for the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test).
