Growing numbers of Chinese couples are buying each other cosmetic surgery for Valentine's Day.
Clinics in Shanghai reported a boom in business in the run up to February 14, reports the Xinhua news agency.
Some pay for their partners to go under the knife while others surprise their loved ones with new features of their own.
And surgeons say three couples in the city even asked to have matching features.

I'm not sure what to think about that last one. Sure, it's eerie, but it's difficult to say why. Do these couples want to have sex with themselves? Surely, some sort of body-length mirrored with mid-section contraptions would work. Do they think they're so good-lookin' that their partners should look like them? Do they dream about dating their siblings? Of course, this is China, so there are no such things as siblings. Maybe this is an effort to finally get a sibling.Â
Oh well, beauty enhancements are for losers anyway.
