[Evangelical Professor Mark Noll has accepted a position at Notre Dame](http://insightscoop.typepad.com/2004/2006/02/irony%5Falert%5Fwhe.html?ref=thedailyeudemon.com).

How odd, in light of the supposed reluctance of Catholic schools to hire Protestants and of Protestant schools to hire Catholics ([link](https://thedailyeudemon.com/3565/)). Mabye it's just Protestant schools that won't hire Catholics. I express no opinion here, but you gotta wonder if Wheaton feels a little foolish for firing (not renewing the contract of) a professor for converting to Catholicism.
