How odd, in light of the supposed reluctance of Catholic schools to hire Protestants and of Protestant schools to hire Catholics (link). Mabye it's just Protestant schools that won't hire Catholics. I express no opinion here, but you gotta wonder if Wheaton feels a little foolish for firing (not renewing the contract of) a professor for converting to Catholicism.
