So Michigan State finally loses. This is not a very good team. I think Dantonio has done a great job with this program, but this year's team could just as easily be 4-5 right now as 8-1.

I've always kinda like Dantonio, but a friend said last night in a text, "I can't stand him. Ever since he got in the media argument with [a Michigan player]. A coach should be above a tiff with a student."

I'd never thought about that, and it's not the only time Dantonio has criticized Michigan players' off-field actions/words. I'm sure other coaches have done the same, but as of this typing, none come to mind. It is unbecoming and shows a lack of class.
