Thrashing Their Way to 40 Virgins
The nation's most senior Islamic woman has attacked Muslim religious leaders who condone "wife-beating" and other forms of domestic violence.
Aziza Abdel-Halim, the only female member of the Prime Minister's Muslim Advisory Council, has warned that Islamic women are being "put down" by imams in hardline and moderate circles and their rights ignored.
If Islam abuses women like this, why don't the women leave? Then again, they'd be killed for apostosizing. Maybe they could go into the Former Muslim Protection Program.
Too bad they can't do like disgruntled Catholic women who become nuns, liturgists, and religious education instructors, then undermine the religion from the inside.
