One of the best things I've learned about gardening: You don't just "put your garden in" once and walk away. You continue to plant from spring through early fall (if you're so inclined). I put the bulk of my fall garden in yesterday: a bunch of peas, kale, spinach, and kale. The hot weather is really tricky this time of year (especially since weatherman has absolutely sucked all year), but most of the stuff is in self-watering containers, in areas that get a lot of shade, so they should be fine.
