Legion for Christ

The Wall Street Journal has run a pretty good article about the Legion of Christ. It also recounts some of the ugly attacks that have afflicted the Legion. Such attacks, of course, are a sign of success. If no one attacks you, no one fears you, and if no one fears you, it's because you're not doing anything. This is especially so with devout and orthodox organizations that operate outside the diocesan structure. The seculars and the ordinary Catholics don't what to think, unless, of course, they flat-out hate you.
