I've been meaning to mention: If you want a good sports blog, check out Oddjack and Deadspin. I visit the latter a couple of times a week, the former only a couple of times a month. Still, both are good. Deadspin at times shows the ideological baggage of ESPN and Sports Illustrated, but that's alright. It mostly sticks to real sports. When Deadspin first started out last year, I immediately started visiting on the weekends, until I discovered that they didn't update it on the weekends, which struck me as ridiculous (like writing a political-election blog that doesn't update in early November). But that desideratum is gone now.
