# American Idol Follow-Up

Day two was remarkably more subdued than day one (see [my previous post](https://thedailyeudemon.com/3680/)). The level of ridicule was back to the old levels (mostly reserved for the pompous), they had a great "feel good" story, and the best contestant was a modest and attractive 16-year-old girl with a mother and father. She's also African-American, so I'm calling her the Bizarro Fantasia.

Don't expect many more posts about *American Idol* from me, but I figured as long as I'm sitting through a few episodes ("family moments"), I might as well keep y'all up to date.
