[According to Catholic World News](http://www.cwnews.com/news/viewstory.cfm?recnum=41869&ref=thedailyeudemon.com), a report says that 860 million children suffer world-wide. That strikes me as awfully high, but I don't know. How many children are there among the world's 6.5 billion?

The suffering, incidentally, includes AIDS, hunger, human trafficking, and other evils. Let's hope the number is grossly exaggerated.
