Thirteen of my asparagus crowns are producing. I think I planted 16. Looking forward to the fresh stuff for the next couple of weeks. Thing is, it's the one vegetable that everyone in my family enjoys. I hope I get enough spears to go around eight ways (Alex, the oldest, won't be here this spring . . . for the first time in 22 years).
