Real Men

I found this statement by Ryan McMaken at the Lew Rockwell blog interesting, probably because it's pretty close to my sentiments:

Men who would rather drink and start fights than work a steady job comfort themselves with the thought that they're just too manly to take orders from some manager or supervisor. Or, guys who find the world just too darn confusin' with all those eggheads out there tryin' to complexify stuff, find comfort in the lie that they don't need to read books or confront complex ideas because real men don't do that sort of thing. Finally, there are those guys who just hate women, and tell themselves that the reason their wives left them for someone who showers daily is because they were just dumb bit#*es who don't appreciate real men.
