The University of Texas Tower shines in orange when its team wins a national championship.

I thought I read once that it shines entirely in orange (gold?) only when its football team won a national championship, but the link above says it shines in orange for every national championship. It'd be a pity if the UT officials gave up hope that the special event would ever occur again and decided to change the lighting policy, thus watering down the significance of the orange tower.
