Here's an article in the Chicago Tribune about men paying over $100 to look exactly like Santa. It's nice that they're so earnest about their job. It's a worthwhile one, after all. But I've had six kids go through the Santa lap scene, and not one of them have been able to see through ill-fitting Santa costumes and ratty fake beards.
