Coffee and tea may reduce the risk of serious liver damage in people who drink too much alcohol, are overweight or have too much iron in the blood, researchers reported yesterday.
Do any lay people keep track of all these diet stories? For some reason, they're interesting, but they all kind of run together, kind of like keeping track of Hollywood romances. In a couple of months, I'll probably be sitting in a bar and telling people how I read in the Washington Post that alcohol is good for your liver.
