I find this fascinating . . . and flattering: "A group of Czech researchers has conducted a study in which they determined that the perceived intelligence of men correlates strongly with their actual intelligence ”“ but the same doesn't hold true for women." I have long maintained, with only a little bit of false modesty, that I look smarter than I am. Maybe the people who see me know more about my intelligence than I do. Whereas I often think I'm borderline moronic, maybe I'm a solid five or ten points above moronic.
