Manners at NY Subways?
The MTA begins its crackdown on bad behavior Monday with a series of new rules prohibiting everything from rollerblading on the subway to putting your feet up on an empty seat. . . .
It will be a violation to:
* Jump turnstiles even if your MetroCard is not working properly.
* Straddle a bicycle, wear in-line skates, or ride a scooter or skateboard.
* Move between cars except when directed by a cop or conductor.
* Occupy more than one subway or bus seat, or put feet or bags on empty seats.
* Urinate in cars between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
* Cattle brand fellow passengers with a heated crack pipe.
