The Daddy Has a Blessing

The New York Post runs a follow-up story to the baby who was cut from a woman's womb last year.

Almost a year after she was literally ripped from her mother's womb in a crime that took the pregnant woman's life, Victoria Jo Stinnett is a thriving, chubby baby with her late mother's brown eyes and sunny disposition.

"She doesn't have much hair yet," said Becky Harper, the proud grandmother, showing off snapshots. Her mom, Bobbie Jo, "didn't grow her hair for a long time either," she said.

The adorable little girl is just like any other 11-month-old, she said, active and healthy. She lives in nearby Maitland (population 342) with her father, Zeb Stinnett, 24, who nicknamed her "Tory."

"She seems real content and happy," said Harper. "I think her dad's taking real good care of her. He's got brothers and sisters, and they help him."
