I think most people would agree that men built this country, mostly through hard work and risk-taking, self-sacrifice and toughness. But as this article points out, the landscape of the traditional man is shifting radically. From metrosexuals to Brokeback Mountain. Are we conceited enough to think we can make such a radical shift in our country's backbone without some terrible consequences? No doubt we are. But truth, I fear, will out.
