If you still haven't bought at least one of John Zmirak's *Bad Catholic's Guides*, you're missing out. The guy is brilliant, erudite, and funny. He deserves an audience as large as Chesterton enjoyed.

Who else is crafting passages with this much theological insight and humor?

> On a deeper level, beauty points to truth, and ugliness celebrates error. Compare the buildings of Catholic Habsburg Vienna to the Stalinist monstrosities of Moscow, or the ritual of a papal Mass to North Korean gymnastics exhibitions. I really could go on all day.
