Miscellaneous Rambling
I've probably listened to about 50 episodes of The Journey Home, with Marcus Grodi. EWTN puts them into podcast format. They're perfect listening for low-mental tasks like gardening.
It dawned on me a little while ago that not a single convert to Catholicism has told Grodi, "I converted because X or Y beat me in theological arguments."
I was reminded of it by these words in Russell Kirk's autobiography, The Sword of Imagination: "Ambrose of Milan taught that it has not pleased God to save men through logic."
