Movie Review

I took my three older boys to see Anchorman 2 last week.

It was pretty bad. There were a few laugh-out-loud moments, and a large chunk of it was enjoyable enough, so I don't feel like I completely wasted two hours of my life and $30.

But man, overall, the movie sucked. The last thirty minutes showed a level of artistic hubris never before seen. I gotta believe Will Ferrell decided, "How far can I push the envelope of ridiculousness and still get applause?"

Turns out, quite a ways. I don't want to ruin the movie for you, but it was way over the top. Unbelievably so. I think they were trying to go over the top with going over the top, if that makes sense.
