Hey, Check Out the Morality Clause
The New York Civil Liberties Union has filed a federal discrimination complaint against a Catholic school, charging that it unjustly fired an unmarried teacher for being pregnant.

The teacher, of course, says she's doing the right thing by not aborting it. That's true, of course, but a rapist does the right thing when he doesn't kill his victim afterwards. That's a harsh comparison, but I'm just illustrating a point: the fact that you refrained from commiting a greater wrong doesn't make the lesser wrong acceptable.
Another article that illustrates the same point:
Officers let the bicyclist go, but the man in search of a ride was taken to jail on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol and cocaine.
Hey, the guy was trashed in public, but he tried to take a taxi instead of driving a car. Shouldn't the police let him go?
