Toilet Paper Controversy

The New York Post cracks me up. This is a humorous story, but the choice of verbs in the first and third paragraphs is classic NYP:

A prop company has been plunged into a legal drama over a $137,139 roll of toilet paper.
In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Atomic Props claims a company called Gigunda Group has shorted them on payments for the giant roll of toilet tissue.
Now, rather than being stranded in the stall, Atomic is fighting back with a lawsuit aimed at wiping the advertising company's debt clean.
Gigunda, an advertising company, had hired the Minnesota-based Atomic to build the titanic tissue roll for "use on a billboard in the Times Square area of Manhattan as part of an advertising campaign for one of its clients."
