[Ryan Basen takes apart the NFL pink annoyance](http://www.sportsonearth.com/article/62332742/?ref=thedailyeudemon.com). He says it's what I suspected: just a marketing ploy cooked up between two organizations, except a few large corporations are involved, too. The kicker: some people think it does more harm than good.

I'm also told the NFL is going to stop using the pink flags. In their zest to increase female viewership, they forgot that the game itself should take priority in all respects. I guess the pink flags were causing confusion on the field.
