Bettnet reports on "Bishop" Gay Robinson's excoriation of the Catholic Church:
The gay Episcopalian bishop went to England to speak to Anglicans and had some commentary on the Catholic Church. V. Gene Robinson started by saying, “I am not here to grind any axes, I am here to do the thing that Christians do, that is to witness to the good of God.” He then proceeded to grind his axe of the Catholic Church's teaching on homosexuality.
Bishop Robinson said: “We are seeing so many Roman Catholics joining the church. Pope Ratzinger may be the best thing that ever happened to the Episcopal Church.”
He continued: “I find it so vile that they think they are going to end the child abuse scandal by throwing out homosexuals from seminaries. It is an act of violence that needs to be confronted."
Thanks for restraining yourself, Gene, and witnessing to the goodness of God.
The best thing on this page, though, might be the comment by one John Hearns:
Just another narcissistic gay guy clamoring for the attention he craves. He got his damned “bishops” costume, why can't he just shut up and go away?
The funniest thing I've read so far this month.
