Anne Rice: Revert to Catholicism

The renowned author of "Interview with the Vampire" and 24 other best-sellers says she's turned from writing about tortured souls to saving souls.

"I promised that from now on I would write only for the Lord," Anne Rice, 64, tells Newsweek. In two weeks, her latest book, "Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt," a novel about the 7-year-old Jesus, will hit the stands.

According to this article, Rice has been a devout Catholic since 1998. I know from other sources that she was raised Catholic as well.
