Sexually-active former priests want to change celibacy rules. I'm shocked.

If you're viewing an issue through the distortion of your privates, you're probably not seeing clearly. For this reason, these guys are the last persons I would heed when it comes to the celibacy debate. You might as well ask an unrepentant and active lecher whether adultery is always wrong.
