Happy New Year, everyone. It's a holiday, so blogging today is at a minimum. I'm just going to plug my new favorite Twitter account: [The Overly Manly Man](https://twitter.com/OverlyManlyMann?ref=thedailyeudemon.com). It reminds me a lot of a book my father bought me while I was in high school, *The Manly Handbook*. Sample tweets (warning: site is PG-13):

"Spots a Bear. Bear plays dead."

"Sleep? Drink another coffee and man up, it's only been 5 days."

"Women's hockey? You mean sweeping?"

Now, I've actually ran into a few people who don't understand the humor of such manly prose. Every joke is ruined by explaining it, but I'm going to explain it anyway: The manly humor takes a manly trait (say, "toughness"), then exaggerates it twenty-fold. I actually had one friend who (unbelievably) said that, by making fun of such extreme toughness, *The Manly Handbook* was saying men are stupid for being tough. That friend, though a heckuva nice guy, didn't have much of a sense of humor.
