A reader sends along this sermonette on the Feast Day of St. Francis (October 4th):

> St. Francis of Assisi said, "Preach the Gospel at all times; when necessary, use words!"

> To obey this holy man's good counsel, three things are necessary:

> 1) ALWAYS do good;

> 2) FREQUENTLY say nothing;

> 3) NEVER do anything until or say anything without having first prayed.

> In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

If only all sermons were so pithy. If only all sermons were so good.
