Witch Overhead

A Dutch witch has won her battle to make the cost of her brooms and spell-making lessons tax-deductable.
Tax officials finally agreed that the un-named woman could declare the cost of her overheads against tax.

Link.

I know nothing about Dutch tax law (is a hash house's pot bong seven-year property for depreciation purposes?), but if she's in the business of being a witch, such things would probably qualify as "ordinary and necessary business expenses" under Section 162 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Aside: I enjoy the clarity here: This is a witch, brooms and all. I gotta believe this hag would scoff at today's Wiccan hokum.
