JPII's Final Words

Six hours before his death on April 2, Pope John Paul uttered, in Polish, his final words: “Let me go to the house of the Father.” They were “mumbled . . . in a faint voice” to Sister Tobiana, one of the Polish nuns who ran his household.
A meticulously detailed 200-page account of John Paul's last weeks has just been published by the Vatican to dispel any possible “inaccuracies and disinformation”.
It is usual for the Vatican to reconstruct a pope's death for its own archives, but this is believed to be the first time the document has been published.
