A friend sent along the above picture of his consolation after spending a long day at Disney with his daughter. I thought it was a great pic.

Has anyone heard of the website Livability? From what I gather, it's a site dedicated to alerting people to great places to live. A TDE reader recently sent a Top 10 list from Livability of great beer towns. My local municipality, Kalamazoo, clocked in at Number 4: "Bell's Brewery creates 20 beers for distribution and a handful of small-batch brews for its pub. It started in 1985 with a 15-gallon soup kettle and has grown to a company that employs more than 100 people in 18 states. Their pub, Eccentric Cafe, is located in downtown Kalamazoo. It hosts live music and is the only place to get some of the beers Bell's Brewery makes." Although I've drank a lot of beer in Kalamazoo, it's my great shame that I've never been to Bell's or any of Kalamazoo's other breweries. That will be remedied. Soon. I don't know when, but it will be remedied. * * * * * * * Surely, this signals a potential turning point in the drug debate: Pat Robertson: Pot should be treated like alcohol. He apparently wants marijuana decriminalized but not legitimized. It kinda mirrors my political stance on the issue, even though I maintain that alcohol is, among the buzz inducements, fundamentally different from marijuana. * * * * * * * Anyone here from Denver? You ever been to Stoney's Bar and Grill? You might not want to patronize it anymore. They kicked out Theology on Tap. It's quite the bogue move, but I do sympathize with the bar owner. His regulars and employees are apparently anti-Catholic bigots, which puts him a tough place. Here's the link. Make up your own mind. I would spend more time looking into it, but I don't think I'll ever get to Denver, so it doesn't really concern me.
