This site (link) offers a variety of "then and now" pictures from San Fransisco. The "then" pictures are from Alfred Hitchcocks' Vertigo. The "now" pictures are the same locations, in 2003. I've never been to San Fran and I've only seen parts of Vertigo, but I still found the contrasts pretty neat. I always enjoy seeing pictures of big cities like they used to be. To see actual locations juxtaposed with what they've become, is particularly interesting.
