. . . but it's good to see more and more Catholic clergy showing some backbone:

> Writing in a national newspaper, Cardinal Keith O'Brian said Scottish Executive plans to allow unmarried and same sex couples to adopt would put children "in peril". The comments have been dismissed by gay rights activists.
